A little Victorian house was created by a single line ink drawing and brightened with watercolor. This was done from life, sitting across the street from my friend's house. The original was sold to a collector fond of small town life portrayals.
I create in many media, including painting, drawing, and silk painting. Growing up in northern California in the agriculture rich Sacramento-San Joaquin delta with ready access to the Pacific Coast and Sierra Nevada Mountains, I developed a love of nature and the outdoors that is often reflected in my artwork. While most of my work is sold in my local area, my art has also been shipped to buyers elsewhere in the United States and in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Long before I began showing art during the 1990s, I used drawings to convey my moods, and in the days of snail mail supremacy, my letters were often adorned with cartoons of events in my world.
